--  After Doug Smith broke the story earlier today that Raptors invited Voshon Lenard to training camp, the Toronto Raptors announced today that the team had signed the veteran shooter, and he is expected to be in uniform in tomorrow's pre season game against the Utah Jazz.

--  Newcomers Lamond Murray and Nate Huffman will not be with the team in the early part of the season due to injuries.  Lamond Murray, who injured his foot during a pre season game against the New Jersey Nets, will be sideline for at least eight weeks.  Nate Huffman, who underwent surgery yesterday, will be out for a minimum of six weeks.
